A day for Transition and other groups promoting sustainable communities to connect, re-establish our aims and plan strategically.
Saturday 21st February
with Sophy Banks and Chrissie Godfrey
Friends Meeting House 10 am – 3 pm

The day aims to revisit our purposes and motivations, explore any synergies between our projects and how we could support one another, consider how to be strategic with our energy and work together to identify and find solutions for some key problems.  A chance to find support with organizational issues and making the most of our resources.

Facilitators

Sophy jointly set up the first “Heart and Soul”, or Inner Transition group in Totnes in 2006. She co-founded Transition Training and has delivered Launch and other workshops to transition projects around the world and is currently coordinating work on Inner Transition for Transition Network. Chrissie is a coach and facilitator who helps people make significant, lasting and meaningful change for themselves or their organisations. After a career in Arts management, Chrissie co-founded Visionjuice, offering innovative consultancy and training in personal/organisational change and creativity.  She has wide experience of working with statutory and voluntary organizations

Please bring food to share for lunch. Drinks provided.

This workshop is supported financially by Transition Network and Exeter Quakers. Donations are requested to help with costs (suggested £10) but we hope no-one is deterred by cost from coming. If a travel bursary would help you attend please tell us when booking.

If groups want to they can use the Health Check for Transition groups and others to think and talk about & fill in before the workshop, which might kick off some of the issues we want to bring to it. It's here:
