Sidmouth takes part in global climate change conversation

On Sunday 21st September a world-wide set of events took place ahead of the UN climate summit in Paris next year. 'People's climate marches' were scheduled for New York and London.

In sunny Sidmouth about 100 people came by to show their support or just for a chat and 87 signed the petition calling on governments to put Climate Change more prominently on their agenda. These signatures were added to the 1,000 already collected online from East Devon. The event achieved the purpose of getting more people to engage in conversation on this topic and help push for a stronger government commitment.

SidEnergy joined in the climate change debate with others on the Esplanade in front of the Lifeboat station.
